Intestinal Ultrasound is performed at Vermont South. Anorectal Manometry is a mobile service across Melbourne and surrounds, including the Metro area, Western Suburbs, Eastern Suburbs, Gippsland and Bass Coast.
*In order for patients to be eligible for Medicare rebates, patients referred directly from Allied Health Professionals will have a pre-screening consultation with our Nurse Practitioner to discuss clinical history and facilitate a referral to one of the Bowel Health Scan Practitioners for their procedure.

Intestinal Ultrasound
A non-invasive procedure to image the bowel to assess & diagnose conditions such as Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), Crohn’s Disease, Diverticulitis and Ulcerative Colitis.

Anorectal Manometry
A procedure to assess the functionality of the muscles and nerves in the rectum and anus, to diagnose conditions like faecal incontinence, and pelvic floor dysfunction.
